Phillip Mark Denzler, age 71, of Stillwater, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services officiated by Pastor Dan Yankunas will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Solid Rock Church in Stillwater. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorials Gardens. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is charge of the arrangements.

Phillip was born on August 1,1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Peter J. and Patrena (Petersen) Denzler. He married Margaret Rankin Denzler on May 12,1979 in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Phillip attended Nathan Hale High School, Claremore Jr. College, and Wichita State University. He had been the Assistant Manager of Consumers IGA in Stillwater, the Assistant Manager of the Homeland store in Perry, Oklahoma, and concluded his career as a Store Associate at Lowe's in Stillwater.

He was a member of Solid Rock Church, a Cub Scout leader at Westwood Elementary for school grades 1 through 5, and a league bowler since his youth. His many hobbies included woodworking, gardening, reading, music of all kinds, working jigsaw puzzles and needlepoint.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Phillip is survived by his wife Margaret Denzler; his son Nick Denzler and wife Sarah; his grandson Grayson; his sisters Deborah Rogers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Stacey Harlin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Terry Varnell, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his brothers Stephen A. Denzler of Tahoe, California, and Richard Denzler of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Serving as pallbearers are James Baugh, Nick Denzler, Brett Harlin, Jacob Hatfield, Josh Robidoux, Arfan Mohiuddin and Caleb Robidoux.

The family would like to thank the Stillwater Medical Center ICU nursing staff and the Mercy AMG OKC nursing staff for their wonderful care and kindness.
