Ray G. Brown, age 65, of Glencoe, passed away peacefully at his home on December 13, 2025.

Ray was born on April 20, 1960, in Oklahoma to Herbert and Patsy Brown. He was raised in Glencoe and graduated from Glencoe High School, earning his high school diploma. Ray spent 10 years working for National Standard before relocating to Arizona, where he finished his working career as a security guard.

Ray enjoyed tinkering with projects and spending time bird watching, finding peace in the simple pleasures of life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Brown.

Ray is survived by his sons, Jason Brown, Jared Brown and wife Kirsten, and Jacob Brown; daughter, Kristen Metcalf and husband Allen; mother, Patsy Brown; four brothers, Darrel Brown, Larry Brown, Paul Brown, and Mark Brown; and one sister, Cynthia Staten. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lacy Brown, Miles Brown, Mason Brown, Allison Brown, Hannah Metcalf, and Nick Metcalf.

Services will be held at a later date, with burial to follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery, east of Glencoe.

Ray will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
