Reba June (Reams) Talbott, 93, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her Celebration of Life will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Stillwater Church of Christ 821 N Duck St, with burial following in the Greenwood Cemetery in Yale. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Reba was born August 27, 1931 to Roy and Fanny (West) Reams in Yale, Oklahoma. She attended Yale School system. She married John Talbott September 27, 1952, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Reba worked for Southwestern Bell in Bartlesville and then Cushing. Reba and John moved to Broken Arrow where she was a homemaker and mother. Reba continued as a homemaker after the family of four moved to Stillwater. When the boys started grade school, Reba took a part time job as a bookkeeper and later worked as a Secretary at Oklahoma State University in the Agronomy Department until retirement.

Reba was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook and would often enter her canned goods at the County Fair. Reba also loved to play the organ. She was full of life with a beautiful smile that would light up the room. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ all her life. Reba was always ready and willing to help someone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; sisters Shirley Hollingsworth and Mary Ann Haugh.

Reba is survived by her sons, Pat Talbott and wife, Debbie, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Phillip Talbott and wife, Mandi, of Dover, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Preston Talbott and fiancé Keelee Curbo of Springdale, Arkansas, Makenna McCalip and husband, Tyler, of Oklahoma City, Ok, Abbie Clark and husband, Brendan, of Tuttle, Ok, great-grandchildren Miller McCalip and Callahan Clark; brother, Tom Reams of Dover, Oklahoma.
