Richard William "Hutch" Hutchison, age 49, of Stillwater, died Thursday, October 19, 2023. Funeral services officiated by Eric Austin will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in the Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.


Richard was born to Tom and Martha (Knight) Hutchison in San Pablo, California on December 5, 1973. He married Sylvia Pike in Lawton, Oklahoma and they later divorced. Richard married Megan Rose in Stillwater, and they also divorced. Richard attended Oklahoma State University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Journalism, and later attended Cameron University where he earned his Master's in Business. He was a Retired/Disabled Veteran, having served his country in the United States Army from 1998 to 2002. He was an OSU Cowboy fan, was passionate about supporting veteran's causes, and was devoted to his family. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, compassion for others and his generous heart.


Richard is survived by his parents Tom and Martha Hutchison; his daughter Laney Hutchison; sister Denaya Wininger and husband Michael Wininger; his nieces Makena Wininger and Whitney Wininger; his nephews Ryan Wininger and Jackson Wininger; his aunt Monta Wilson, uncle Hal (Mac) Wilson, and cousin Jerri Ann Self


Serving as Pallbearers are Michael Wininger, Ryan Wininger, Jackson Wininger, Roland Austin, and Gary Beeby.


Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
