Perkins resident Robert Leland Allensworth Jr., 75, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026 at his home.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 18, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater, OK. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can made to Luminos Hospice, 808 Manvel Ave, Chandler, OK 74834.

Robert was born August 7, 1950 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Robert Leland Allensworth Sr. and Loretta M (White) Allensworth. He attended Stillwater schools before serving in the United States Navy in Vietnam. He married Linda Brown and later married Deborah (Mercer) in 1975. Robert was a self-employed house painter and also had worked as a music director. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the V.F.W.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Deborah S. Allensworth of the home, a son Robert Leland Allensworth III and wife Ariah, a daughter Tressa Mo'Anne Allensworth and fiancé Matt Self, 5 grandchildren, Ruth May Marie Cochran, Serenity Faith Cochran, Lilith Sue Ann Allensworth, Isabel Pearl Allensworth, and Chad Allensworth, a brother, Donnie Allensworth and wife Cindy, and several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
