Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our cherished brother, uncle and friend, Ronald Pace, who left us peacefully on November 15th at the age of 82. A great person of boundless warmth, kindness and humor, Ron touched the lives of all who knew him.

As a brother, he was a constant source of support, love and loyalty. His siblings will forever cherish the moments of laughter, understanding and the strength he provided throughout their lives.

Uncle Ronnie was adored by his nieces and nephews. He had a special bond with them, always ready with a joke and a helping hand. His presence brought joy, comfort and a sense of security to his family.

Ron was known for his generous spirit and had an infectious smile that could brighten any room and a heart that was open to anyone. Ron will be remembered for his legacy of kindness and generosity, leaving a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Ron Pace was born on February 23, 1942, in Alton, Illinois to Jesse and Ina Pace. He graduated high school from CE Donart High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Ron worked at the Stillwater Newspress for over 40 years in various positions. He was a dedicated and hard worker and made many lifelong friendships throughout his career.

Ron enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching his favorite sports teams (St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and OSU). He was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of the Moose in Stillwater. He enjoyed spending time there with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ina, his brothers Jesse (Jay), Robert (Bud), William (Bill), Thomas (Tom), Clelle (Jim), Paul (PD), and Odell, his sisters Mary Rose and Betty Schultz.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry Pace and his sister, Carol (Susie) Heddlesten and her husband, Vern and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a casual celebration of his life on Wednesday November 20th at 1:00 at the Moose Lodge, 301 S. Perkins Rd, Stillwater OK 74075 with a meal following for family and friends.
