Obituary

Ronald Wayne White, 85, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025.

Ronald was born on March 17, 1940, to Darrell and Lorene (Smith) White in Manila, Arkansas. He often joked that he was born in a cotton field. He was the oldest of nine children. After graduating from Stillwater High School, Ronald joined the United States Navy, where he proudly served four years stationed in Hawaii-an experience he spoke of often throughout his life.

On October 8, 1963, he married Anita Smith White in Perry, Oklahoma. In 1964, they welcomed their only child, Darla White Jiles, and made Stillwater their lifelong home.

Ronald held several jobs before beginning his long career at Moore Business Forms, where he worked for 29 years, missing only two and a half hours during that time. He was a devoted husband and father, always ensuring his family was well cared for.

His daughter Darla married Vincent Jiles, who preceded Ronald in death. Through their union, Ronald was blessed with three granddaughters, Kristin D'Leon and husband Nicholas Glatt; identical twins Kaylin Faith and husband Zachary Lowe, and Karrah Hope and Conner Hodgeson.

From the time his granddaughters began school, Ronald spent summers traveling to Branson, teaching them to draw and paint, gardening, or simply enjoying time together. This same devotion carried on with his great-grandchildren.

Ronald became a great-grandfather to Presleigh Grace Glatt, who affectionately called him "Happy" from the time she could speak. That name continued with Monroe Love Glatt and Lennon Cherish Glatt. His final great-grandchild, Lincoln Jiles Lowe, completed his legacy-Ronald often joked that it "took him 84 years."

Ronald was a talented artist, wood craftsman, and gardener. There was no task he couldn't tackle. He continued mowing his yard with a push mower until he became ill in June and even did so a few times afterward.
He is dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, but his passing was peaceful. Ronald taught his family how to live fully-and in his final moments, he showed them how to leave this life with grace and dignity.
