Obituary

Rose Marie (VanDyke) Fowble, was born to George William & Roberta Alliene VanDyke in Ithaca, New York, on May 24, 1948 and passed from this life on July 11, 2023 at the age of 75. She grew up in New York and graduated from Newfield Central High School. She later moved to Oklahoma, living in Thomas, Agra, Perkins and Glencoe. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Rose was united in marriage to John Tetor. To this union two daughters were born.

On July 1, 1989, Rose was united in marriage to Davy Fowble in Glencoe, Oklahoma. Mr. Fowble preceded Rose in death on July 28, 2007.

Rose worked varies jobs including a factory worker, retail associate, certified medication aide, stay at home Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma. She loved to embroidery, quilting, sew, doing needle point, baking cookies and treats with her daughters and grandchildren. Rose loved the nature and all its beauty. You could always count on Rose being at her daughter's sport games and was always their best fan. She was always so proud of her daughters. Every year at Christmas, Rose would bake cookies for her family and friends. She made this into a special time with her grandchildren. They all loved their baking time with her and looked forward to it every year. She was known as Momma Rose to a few kids that were close friends of Marcy and Susan.

Survivors include two daughters, Marcy Sharp and her husband Matt of Perkins, Oklahoma; Susan Pierce and her husband Randy Pierce of Glencoe, Oklahoma; six Grandchildren, Tayla McGuire, Trenton McGuire and wife Ashlee, Thunder Sharp and wife Andrea, Talon Sharp and fiancé Lauren, Kristiee Moorman and husband Matt and Brenden Pierce; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Al VanDyke and wife Linda and George VanDyke and wife Debbie; three sisters, Joyce Turney, Virgina Wigfield and Caroline Burnor. Along with a host of other family members and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents; Rose was preceded in death by sisters, Martha Jones and Alice Park; and one brother, Wilmont (Bill) Parker.

Marcy and Susan would like to thank, the staff of Karmen Legacy Hospice of Stillwater, Dr. Ogundipe and Nurses of Stillwater Medical Cancer Center and Westhaven Nursing Home & Rehabilitation.
