Ruth (Sacket) Miller went home to be with Jesus on December 4, 2024, in Stillwater, Oklahoma in the company of her family. Ruth was born May 4, 1932 in Oakdale, Oklahoma to Francis and Irma Sacket. Services will be held at the Aline United Methodist Church in Aline, Oklahoma on Wednesday, December 18 at 1:00. She will be buried at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aline. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ruth grew up on the family farm and was the youngest of three children. She loved animals, especially horses, and was herding cattle at a very early age. She graduated from Aline High School in 1950 and moved to Stillwater to attend Oklahoma State University where she received her Associate Degree in Business.
Ruth developed a passion for motorcycles at an early age. She married Dell Miller, a fellow motorcycle enthusiast. After dating for eight days Dell got drafted, so he and Ruth married before he left to serve. They would go on to raise four children: Nell, Dell Jr., Jenny and Lloyd. Dell was the love of her life and they were married for over 68 years at the time of Dell's passing.
The Miller family eventually moved to Florida and became the owners of Gentry Motors Motorcycle shop located in Rockledge. Ruth and Dell ran and operatied every aspect of the family business and made a great team. Ruth was well liked by all who knew her and many customers were like family.
Ruth is survived by her children; Nell Balogh and husband Les, Dell Miller Jr., Jenny Bayles and husband Steve, Lloyd Miller, sister Bonita Garner, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, the Bayles and Price families and her beloved puppy dog, Sophia.
