Ryan Timothy "Sauce" Saucerman, 43, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed to eternity on April 15, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, following a brief illness.
Ryan was born on December 23, 1982, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he spent his entire life and built deep roots in the community. To most who knew him, he was simply "Sauce"-a nickname that followed him from a young age and became the name many knew him by.
Ryan had a natural ability to connect with people. He was social, outgoing, and seemed to know everyone, leaving a lasting impression on those he met. In later years, he lived more quietly and reserved, but those who knew him well still saw the same heart underneath.
Ryan graduated from Stillwater High School in 2001, attended Oklahoma State University & made many friends, as well as memories at Delta Tau Delta. Most recently, he took pride in his employment at ASCO, Stillwater, but mostly, it was the coworkers he met who became friends that mattered most to him.
He was a big fan of all sports, especially basketball-both playing and watching. More than anything, Ryan loved being a dad to his children, Nathan and Hadley. He was proud of his kids and found joy in cheering them on from the sidelines, supporting them in all they did. His love for them was constant and unwavering.
Ryan's life was not without its challenges. He faced many obstacles and fought battles that were often difficult and deeply personal. Through it all, he leaned on his faith-returning to it in both the highs and the lows, and holding onto the hope and grace Jesus offers. His story is one of complexity, but also of perseverance, love, and a faith that remained a steady presence in his life.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Wade Saucerman; his grandparents,
Gerald Robert "Bob" Saucerman ("GranDad"), Violet Joyce Hebbert ("Gramma"), James Luther Frakes ("Papa Jim"), and Dale Merrill Hebbert ("Grandpa").
He is survived by his children, Nathan and Hadley; his parents, Roger and Terri Saucerman; his sister, Chelsea Martin and her husband, Sam Martin, and their children, Hudson and Harper; and his grandmother, Sue Saucerman Frakes ("Grammie"). Ryan is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family, & friends he chose to call family.
A service to celebrate Ryan's life will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at Sunnybrook Christian Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He will be remembered for the way he showed up for others, for the friendships he formed, his quick, sarcastic sense of humor, and most of all, for the unconditional love he had for his children.
We find comfort in knowing he is now in Heaven, perfectly at peace, free from the struggles he carried, and held in God's grace.
If you wish to honor Ryan and celebrate his life, please send your gifts to Sunnybrook Christian Church Youth Program, 421 East Richmond Road, Stillwater, OK 74075.
