Sandra Jo Hewitt, 86, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on March 13,2026, due to heart complications.

Born on January 19, 1940, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sandra lived a full and vibrant life. She began her career as a model before later serving as a flight attendant with American Airlines, where she was known for her professionalism and gracious presence.

Sandra had a deep appreciation for fashion and style, and she enjoyed trivia and learning about history. In her retirement, she remained active in her community, organizing parties, meetings, and events in her Dallas retirement community. She also enjoyed reading, watching movies, and dancing. She will be remembered for her elegance, warmth, and love of life, as well as her big smile and joyful laughter.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy Ann Mathis; her daughter, Jamie Ann Salz; and her grandchildren, Cole Ryan Johnson and Payton Elizabeth Salz. She was preceded in death by her son, David Gregory Hewitt.

No funeral services are scheduled at this time. Sandra will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
