Sandra Sanders, age 73, died Monday February 12, 2024, at her home in Stillwater surrounded by family. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Sanders is officiating. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Sandra was born in Carmi, Illinois to Edward and Sarah (South) Sanders on February 28, 1950.

She had many occupations, but the most meaningful were working at King's Grocery, in the mailroom at Meridian Technology Center, and as an office assistant for Causley Productions, where they supported her desire to put her family first. She worked there until her retirement to help raise her grandchildren. All of which she made many lifelong friends.

Her hobbies included spending time with her family and friends, playing games, and reading late into the night. Nothing meant more to her than time with family, and her annual sister trips.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Melody Sanders, her brother Randy Sanders, and her great grandchild Aiden Gabriel Torres.

She is survived by son Mike Sanders and wife Terri, and Jeff Ventris and wife Jessica; daughter Samantha Thompson and husband John; sisters Terry Kimble and husband Richard, Tammy Sanders, Candy Klein and husband Phil; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all of those who loved Sandy and have supported the family during this difficult time. Sandy has left a memory in so many hearts. The family asks that you continue to remember her by loving your family and friends above all else.
