Sarah “Sally” Jo Hubbard (née Olson), 70, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

 Born on December 3, 1955, in Oak Park, Illinois, Sally lived a life defined by kindness, compassion, and a deep love for both people and animals. For 36 years, she shared a devoted marriage with her beloved husband, Timothy Hubbard, building a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Sally is survived by her husband, Timothy Hubbard; her daughter, Jessica Sigle, and son-in-law, Avery Sigle; and her grandchildren, Piper and Timothy Sigle. She is also survived by her brothers, Jeff, Gunnar, and Rick; and by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her sister, Linda.

Sally earned an Associate of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences and worked for many years as an environmental technician. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. 

Her greatest passion was helping animals. She devoted countless hours volunteering at local animal shelters, rescuing, fostering, and caring for animals in need. She believed every animal deserved love, safety, and a second chance, and her generosity touched the lives of many people and countless pets over the years.

Those who knew Sally will remember her gentle heart, generous spirit, unwavering compassion, and the love she shared with her family, friends, and every animal fortunate enough to cross her path. Her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
