Sherri Dee Barnard (Longan) passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025 at her home in Stillwater, OK. She was born January 19, 1961 in Blackwell, OK.

She grew up mostly in Stillwater, where she formed many life long friendships. She graduated from C.E. Donart. Through the years she worked in various fields including a dental assistant and hair stylist.

Sherri's life was a testament to the joy and laughter she brought to those around her. She treasured the simple joys of life. Spending time with family, playing cards, camping at the lake, pool days, OSU sports and family get-togethers. Anyone who was lucky enough to know her, knew of her kind spirit and positive outlook.

Sherri is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Eloise Longan and Mother and Father in-law Amos and Sammie Barnard. Sisters Linda Butler and Jan Harris.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Ray Barnard. Sons Jason Estes and wife Michelle Estes, and Carl Estes, both of Stillwater. Daughter Whitney Fisher and husband Justin Fisher of Bristow, OK. Step children Kyle Barnard of Dallas, TX and Matt Barnard and wife Shelly Barnard of Bixby, OK. Grandchildren Brandon Estes, Liam and Emerson Fisher and Charlie and Alice Barnard.

Also, sisters Donna Sylvester, Marilyn Longan. Brother Troy Longan and wife Sherri Longan all of Stillwater, and sister Patty Nondorf and husband Tony Nondorf of Perkins, OK.

Sherri we thank you for all the good memories of times spent together. You may have left this world, but you will never leave our hearts. Rest in peace sweet Sherri, until we meet again.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coyle OK. Following will be a celebration of life dinner at the Elks Lodge, Stillwater.
