Sue Ann Feasley, age 79, died October 13, 2024, surrounded by those who loved her most. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
Sue was born on January 10, 1945 to Walter and Selma (Swanson) Carlson in Chicago, Illinois. She lived a full life that began in Chicago, and lived in four different states before settling in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
On June 8, 1968 she married Charles Feasley, with whom she shared over 55 loving years together, until his passing in January of 2024. Together they raised their son, Kurtis Feasley, wife Lisa Feasley, their cherished grandchildren Rachel Feasley, Michael Feasley, Cari Feasley, and Lauren Stemple, along with seven great grandchildren.
Sue was a dedicated to the welfare of animals through her membership in the Audubon Society and volunteering at the Human Society. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University, which led to her career as an editor. Sue also spent countless hours gardening and honoring her Swedish heritage through cooking and reading. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stillwater. She approached life's challenges with humor and resilience.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, and her sister Carol Mauck. She is survived by her siblings Don Carlson and Wendy Heimburger.
