Teresa Jane Shoemaker, 65, died Tuesday, October 8, 2024 in Stillwater. A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Teresa was born February 11, 1959 to Charles and Mary Elizabeth Shoemaker in Osceola, Arkansas. She attended Manila Public School in Arkansas, and she was an active member of Jehovah Witness.


Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, and her grandmother, Marjorie Lourene Milloway.


She is survived by her sons, Bruce McVey; Matthew and his wife Tamra Garrett; daughter, Libby and her husband Calvin Griffin; grandchildren, Mikaylah and husband Cole Cosman, Tayler Heath, Mackenzie McVey, Aaleah McVey, and Makkel McVey; as well as her sisters, Pamela Castor and Rhonda Calaway.
