Tim Elsberry, a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend passed away unexpectedly on April 17th, 2025 at age 64. He leaves behind his 3 children and many grandchildren.


Tim graduated Marksville High School in Marksville, LA after which he came to Bethany Nazarene College. There he met his wife and mother to his children, former spouse Dianna Payne in 1982. They welcomed twins, Lindsey and Landon, in Bakersfield, CA in 1987, followed by Baby Brett in 1992 while living in Yale, OK. Tim was always willing to play catch, coach a little league team, pull a practical joke, build forts, and cook "the stuff." He may have been a little hot-headed but he was always his kids' biggest fan.


Tim held a successful career at Armstrong Flooring, where he worked for 30+ years before retiring to Morrison, OK. Tim was an avid disc golfer, drummer, gamer, and always up for a hand of cards. In his later years, Tim spent his time with his family listening to music, sharing books, talking sports, and finding the coolest toys for his grandkids. He was always available to talk or help problem solve a project.


Taken too soon by our earthly standards, Tim is loved and will be missed by many as he watches his family continue to grow from a bird's eye view. If he could be here now, he wouldn't hesitate to crack a joke or tell anyone of us how proud he was of his family. At the end of the day, he'd want us to know that,
"It'll all be okay, buddy."

The Family is gathering Saturday, 5 p.m., April 26, 2025 at the Best Western Plus, 315 N Husband St. and encourages those who knew him to come celebrate his life.
