Tommy (Tom) Carl Rose, age 74, of Stillwater, died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Tommy was born to Carl and Arizona (Link) Rose on September 1, 1949 in Alva, Oklahoma. He attended Alva Elementary School, Perkins Junior High, and Perkins High School. He was married to Jacquie German on January 23, 1970. This marriage ended in divorce in 1994. On April 22, 2011 he married Dena James-Rose in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

During his life he had various jobs, including brick layer, rancher, and carpenter. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, but most importantly, being with family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are best friend George Hill, great friend Helen Slavens, and Brad Ward.

Tommy is preceded in death by his mother, father, and two brothers.

Members of his family include wife Dena Rose of the home; daughters Teresa Brunnemer and husband David, Megan Rose, and Amanda Moody and husband Derek; sons Joshua James and wife Leandra, and Justen James and wife Teri; grandchildren Morgan, Jaden, Brooke, Rick, Laney, Parker, Dayne, Tylor, Jorden, and Jada; and great grandson Baker.
