Vanessa Lee Henry of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away July 28, 2025 at the young age of just 38. A viewing will be 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2025 Strode Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2025 in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Stillwater.

Vanessa was born on May 28, 1987, in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Earl R. Cook Jr. and Tonya Kaye Henry. Vanessa attended Stillwater schools growing up and graduated from Stillwater High School. She attended Oklahoma State University and worked as a Commercial Cleaner. Vanessa was raised in several different towns in Oklahoma and was the oldest child of four. She loved nature and being outdoors, loved being surrounded by family, mainly her nieces and nephews. Vanessa was always willing to help others in any way she could. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her love for others and her beautiful smile! Not to mention her loud voice!

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Carma Carter and Charlotte Morgan; grandfather Joe Hall and Grandpa Earl R. Cook, Sr.

Vanessa is survived by her mother, Tonya K. Henry and husband James Doyle; father, Earl R. Cook, Jr. and his wife Jennifer; brothers Stanley Doyle, Darwin Doyle and Nathan Cook; sisters Christian Xoing, Michelle Kaiser and her husband Tony, Alexis Cook and Kayla Cook, friend and brother Andrew Rice; nieces and nephews: Iolanna Xiong, Anna Xiong, Zoey Xiong and Jayce Cook, Jayden Teague, Jordan Perkins, Bentlee Cook, Carson Doyal, Malachi Doyal, Easton Xiong, Zain Xiong, Audrey, Billy and Henry Kaiser, Samus and Kain Cook, Kota and Charlie Compton, Evelynn and Oliver Sharpton, Thomas Aday, and great niece Violet.

Vanessa has touched so many people's hearts and will be truly missed by so many. She was loved by her friends and family!
