With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Staff Sergeant Victoria Mintz, of Stillwater, Oklahoma was born January 30, 1990 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Victoria passed from this life to her eternal home on August 8, 2024 at the age of 34. To commemorate her life and the love she shared, a viewing will be 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home, 610 S. Duncan St. in Stillwater. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Southside Baptist Church in Stillwater with burial following in Fairlawn Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.


Victoria graduated from Stillwater High School and moved to Arizona where she joined the United States Army. She has spent the last 13 years serving her country. She was not only a dedicated service member but also a devoted mother of two young children.


A cherished daughter, a loving sister, and a loyal friend Victoria's love for her family was unparalleled, and her passion for life was evident in her favorite pastimes. She enjoyed going to concerts, it was her favorite type of atmosphere. Her main aspiration was to have fun and enjoy life, she was the true epitome of "living life to the fullest." Victoria was the shoulder to lean on, and her house was always open to anyone and everyone. She was a nurturer.


Victoria's ambition in life was to always make sure her children were okay. She made them independent, and have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be competent human beings. Her loss has left an indescribable void in our family, especially for her children, and in the hearts of all who knew her.


There isn't one person that she's come in contact with that she did not make an impact on, whether you stayed in her life forever or for a season, you will always remember Victoria.


Staff Sergeant Victoria Mintz is preceded in death by her father Anthony Sparks Sr., and brother Anthony Sparks Jr.

She is survived by her children Jermaine Mintz Jr. and Violet Gallego; her mother, Catche Worsham and step-father Gregory Worsham; her sisters Parris Wallace and her children of Phoenix, Arizona, and Crystal Rowland and her children of Cincinnati, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
