Obituary

Waco Bridenstine, age 75, of Perkins, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. A visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Waco was born on August 19, 1949 to Walter Earl and Donna Lucille (Field) Bridenstine in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He married Chris Fowler on January 1, 2000 in Perkins, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Perkins High School. He obtained an associate's degree from Murray State and then attended Oklahoma State University to focus his studies on construction. Waco was employed in the construction field, in various capacities, his entire life, including Heritage Construction for 20 years. He enjoyed golf, football, and spending time with friends and family.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Mayfield, Brady and Tanner Bridenstine, Clint Acuff, Jerod Bridenstine, Dennis Lambdin, Allen and Patrick Crutchfield.

Waco is preceded in death by his both parents; brother Larry Monroe; granddaughter Autumn Grace; and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife Chris Fowler; daughters Jonie Nichles (CC) of Arkansas, Coralee Payton of the home, Debra Jones of Perkins, and Carrie Biddle (Joey) of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Blake Biddle, Joe Biddle, Dallas Biddle ,Caleb (Jasamine) Biddle, Jaxon (Emily) Biddle, Ryann Patnode, Ethan Patnode, Grace Nickles, Jessica Payton, Laycee Latham, Brody, Polly (Kaylene), William Bridenstine, Isabella Bullock, Dusty Latham, MaKayla Smith (Cooper Smith), Alexis, Jacques, Kage Biddle; great grandchildren Chevy Grayson, Nova, Charlie, Charley, Ivorie, Frankie, Tayson, Greyson, and Weston; brothers Pecos Bridenstine (Diane), and Clay Bridenstine (Janet); sisters Sharon Lambdin (Jerry), Linda Singleton (Skip), Laveta Mayfield (Gerald), and Connie Johnson (Larry).
