Wanda Lorean Buxton, 94, of Stillwater died January 18, 2024. Friends are welcome to sign her book from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home.

Wanda was born to Thomas and Marie (Dahlke) Jester on March 25, 1929 in Ada, Oklahoma. She graduated from Yale High School. She loved OSU sports, gardening, reading and most important her family. She worked in the banking and insurance business. She married Robert C. Buxton, Jr. on October 28, 1950 until his death in 1981.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, husband and her daughter, Janet.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy and her husband Jeff Feeney; three grandchildren, Shane and his wife Lindsay, Ashley and her husband Levi, and Tristin; three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; as well as one bother and three sisters.
