Wendell Fay Williams, 87, of Stillwater, died Friday, February 2, 2024. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Bible Baptist Church in Stillwater. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Wetumka Cemetery at Wetumka, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Wendell was born to William Fines and Bennie L. (Roberts) Williams on March 28, 1936 in Russellville, Arkansas. He attended Wetumka High School and went on to become a firefighter. He married Alma L. Smith on February 2, 1956 in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Wendell was a long-time firefighter in Oklahoma City. Bible Baptist Church in Stillwater held his membership.

Surviving Wendell is his wife, Alma; his sons Alan and Annette Williams, Mark (Bill) Williams and Tammie Herell, Eric and wife Tessa Williams; daughter Sharon and husband Tony Andrews; grandchildren Vanessa and Jeremy Reagan, Crystal and Andrew Stewart, Jessie and Jason Gage, Erick & Charisse Bedford and Matthew Williams.

Pallbearers are Tony Andrews, Mark (Bill) Williams, Jason Gage, John Williams, Noah Reagan and Mike Hughes. Honorary pallbearers Alan Williams, Eric Williams and Samuel Reagan.
