June Hall, a cherished wife, mother, “Grammy” and friend, gently departed this world on October 19,2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life was a tapestry of love, faith, and dedication, woven with the threads of her many talents and contributions.
June was born on June 8, 1925, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Virgil and Lillian (Fritchman) Lile. She was a child during the Great Depression and shared stories of hard times and sacrifices made by her parents and 4 sisters. She later married Alvin Wesley Hall on August 15, 1942. Not long after, Alvin left to serve overseas and June raised their first child, Willa Jean, with the help of the Hall family. After the war, June and Alvin welcomed two more children, Kenneth and Donna.
June and Alvin spent free time working on projects from farming to antique car restoration. June could always find the tool he needed and was a great assistant. They enjoyed boating at the lake with their children and volunteered as class parents when needed. They were blessed with 67 years of marriage.
Besides being a loving wife and mother, June also dedicated herself to her work in the school cafeteria in Perkins and then at Oklahoma State University in various cafeterias as a Food Service Supervisor. Her hard work and diligence were admired and her talent with planning and preparing extraordinary meals was enjoyed by all! She was a gifted cook who delighted in preparing meals for all family gatherings, where her delicious noodles were always a family favorite.
Her aptitude and interests were as diverse as they were heartfelt. June found joy in the simple pleasures of life; rocking new grandbabies, gardening on her farm, caring for her ducks and cows, taking power walks around town, and traveling. Her energy seemed boundless, as she took pleasure in mowing her lawn, keeping her surroundings meticulous and consistently supporting the community. She was also an active member of the First Christian Church in Perkins where she found strength and community in her faith.
June was a woman of resilience and unwavering devotion Her friendliness, spunkiness, and strong work ethic left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beacon of love and strength for her family, always putting their needs above her own.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Lillian Lile; sisters, Edna Kendrick, Jane Bolding, Pearl Knight and Rose Comstock; her husband, Alvin Hall; her cherished daughter, Donna Wilkinson; grandson, Daryn Casey; son-in-law, Ronald Casey; and great-granddaughter, Abby Hall.
