Zona Marie Huber, age 89, of Stillwater, died December 13, 2024 at Stillwater Medical Center. No services are planned at this time. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Zona was born to Roy and Leona (Anderson) Bates on October 18, 1935 in Carney, Oklahoma. She was married to Norman Smith. This marriage ended in divorce. She later married Vernon R. Huber Sr.

She received her G.E.D. She was a self-employed housekeeper and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, family, and reading.

She is preceded in death by Norman Dean and Larry Dale.

She is survived by her husband Vernon R. Huber Sr, four sons, one daughter, three stepsons, two stepdaughter, two brothers, four sisters, and four step-brothers.
