"Private Family Viewing with Public Memorial Service" Package

LIMITED CARE of Family, Friends, and Community:

Cremation with private family viewing and a memorial service.

From $3895 as listed; services only; additional charges such as merchandise or third-party items may apply.


Care of Deceased:

  • Staff and professional vehicle to transfer deceased from local place of death to Strode.
  • On-Site Refrigeration of deceased (no embalming).
  • Basic preparation of deceased for private family goodbye, including bathing, dressing, and basic cosmetizing. 
  • Procurement of digital fingerprint to use for remembrance jewelry or other remembrance items.
  • Transfer to our crematory (Payne County’s only crematory).
  • Cremation in our local crematory for use by Strode families only.
  • Return of ashes to family or delivery to local cemetery for committal service.

Care of Family:

  • Use of private visitation room; private family time with deceased to say goodbye (limited to one hour).
  • Public memorial service with deceased not present (ashes may be present) which allows you to honor and celebrate your loved one while also giving friends and others the opportunity to express their love and support.

Care of Friends & Community:

  • Public memorial service or other gathering to allow friends and the community to honor and celebrate the life of the deceased while also providing an opportunity to reconnect and show their support.

Additional Funeral Home Support Services:

  • Limited Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff, including only listed administrative and support assistance and facility overhead.
  • Initial assistance in coordinating final care, including arrangement conference, completion of necessary permits, submission of death certificate information, and notification of Social Security.
  • Preparation and/or placement of obituary notices in newspapers, including initial notification of publication and insuring obituaries are submitted in time to meet any deadlines (additional newspaper charges may apply).
  • Creation and administration of online memorial tribute.
  • Coordination of events, services, or other gatherings with clergy, officiants, celebrants, and other participants, including musicians or other service providers. Preparation and presentation of honorariums or other agreed-upon payments to respective participants.
  • Complete professional supervision of events, services, or other gatherings at churches, event centers, or other venues. Includes necessary staff members, early arrival and set-up at venue, transportation of all necessary equipment and floral tributes, necessary register equipment, floral display equipment, direction of family and attendees, seating and ushering attendees, implementation of service order, proper dismissal of family and attendees, post-event handling of flowers and other service items, removal of equipment used, and assistance and/or direction of any post-service activities.
